The obligation to report the conversation should happen only at the point at which you actually make the change, when it simply becomes common courtesy.Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04087069977867729538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-32575035960022489872011-10-21T19:40:34.135-05:002011-10-21T19:40:34.135-05:00jjane45- also consider that this rule does not gov...jjane45- also consider that this rule does not govern parents, they are not members of the PSA, and do not have to abide by their rules.

If a parent chooses to seek a new coach without telling the old coach, that is fine (though kind of rude once you switch- but I really think it is kind of preferable when you are looking.)

However, if they are looking at other PSA coaches, those coaches are bound by the rule to tell original coach.Jessimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05442665425448000014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-7116189318678033982011-10-20T22:53:57.801-05:002011-10-20T22:53:57.801-05:00No, they tend to find out when they run up against...No, they tend to find out when they run up against it, which is another problem with it. You can't follow a rule that no one tells you about.Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04087069977867729538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-53191877932255791442011-10-20T21:53:51.159-05:002011-10-20T21:53:51.159-05:00Are students/parents explicitly told that they sho...Are students/parents explicitly told that they should always communicate their decisions to current coaches first? I guess you probably bring it up while explaining you are leaving the old rink, but did they know the gag rule beforehand?jjane45https://www.blogger.com/profile/04668434574589453611noreply@blogger.com
