My mom did not take a stand on tying my skates for me until I was 12 or 13. I do recall complaining about my hands and arms and all sorts of things just to have her do it for me... Eventually she took a stand on the matter and started dropping me off until I did it myself. I do however, believe that I would have started doing it myself anyways, as the embarrassment of having my mom tie my skates for me would have set it after not too long.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
