So the rink is more crowded. But in the summer, it's so nice and sunny outside - of course everybody goes to the beach or a swimming pool! No surprise, I think. We do go to the rink a lot though, because we have more time, and my daughter wants to go to the rink every day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-72542738897191479002011-04-26T18:51:00.224-05:002011-04-26T18:51:00.224-05:00True. We have super-cheap public sessions at our rink during school breaks, and there's this one really good skater who goes every day in the holidays. The Same Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-90895180610704738052011-04-26T11:55:07.768-05:002011-04-26T11:55:07.768-05:00Anon, interesting. I'll check this out this summer.Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04087069977867729538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-466093691926458332.post-32434020916291983702011-04-26T10:53:27.036-05:002011-04-26T10:53:27.036-05:00I'd like to be at 'every' rink where p...I'd like to be at 'every' rink where public sessions are sparse. The summer here is THE busiest time of the year at the rink for publics. It's horribly crowded every day and kids are racing every which way, and there's usually a couple of day camps that come in a big bus with lots of kids and counselors. Even on winter, fall and spring breaks, it doesn't get so crowded. And I have no choice but to skate in one public per week. Last summer was okay because I was working on backspins and toeloops, but I have no clue how I'm going to get sufficient practice in on flying camels, doubles and MIF this year- forget trying to do a program on public, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
